Here we are.
Peg and I are still at this Motel 6 in Belle Fourche. We have been here so long that the maids and staff know how we like our rooms and to expect us to ask for unusual things(please open this coconut, or do you have a hammer, how about a tape measure?)and Sophie is a prized guest. Peg was at 95% yesterday, so we went to Deadwood, a lovely casino on the hill above, to celebrate, and practice eating out healthy. The casino now has non smoking parts, but too me, it still smells like smoke. Also, it feels like a strange hang out. Peg put my six dollar tip money in a machine, lots of bells and and assorted sounds later, after pushing only ONE button, out pops a net gain of 10 dollars and change. Well that was enough for me. I went to the gift shop and talked to a wonderful colorful woman, and her husband is waiting for a liver transplant. I told her about John, she had forgotten about him, and I hope her even more interesting sounding husband goes to see John. In the meantime, I am going to have some yard sales, pick up some chair gigs and help get the money together to get Barry up here. He has only forty per cent of his liver, and new cancer...so I hope to be of help here. One of his doctor buddys gave him five hundred dollars, just without asking or expecting, just because he knows what Barry has gone thru, is going thru. So I am opening an account called CANcerCure for Barry...a new exciting adventure, and what fun to continue to trust the abundance to pour in with all this joyfulness of living!
